When can I purchase my new Share the Road license plate?
- We are now told that you WILL be able to order your new plate online August 11th, 2020!!! Yeah!!!!
- **Note: A customer account is required to be created when ordering a special license plate.
How do I order a new Share the Road license?
- First, goto AZ MVD Now web site: (https://azmvdnow.gov/home) and create an account. (**Note it is not the same as the old "ServiceArizona" website and depending on how you get to the Service AZ site, it's sometimes challenging to find)
- Once logged in, you will be able to manage all of your information from MVD (license plates, drivers license, and 20+ other functions...)
How much does the new Share the Road license plate cost?
- If you are buying a Share the Road license plate for the first time the cost is $25 for a non-personalized Share the Road plate and $50 for a personalized Share the Road plate (6-character limit).
- A disability Share the Road license plate is available with a 5-character limit.
- **Note: Disability plates must be ordered in an MVD, Authorize Third Party office or by mail.
What if my current license plate is personalized and I want to change to the Share the Road plate style?
- Those with a personalized plate with six characters or less may keep their current personalization. This requires a new application, and a $50 annual personalized/specialty plate fee.
- **Note: This can be done by visiting an MVD or Authorize Third Party office.
Who do the proceeds of this plate benefit?
- A portion of the proceeds support Uphill Into The Wind and the Rob Dollar Foundation.
